The Best for Our Little Ones
As soon as a child begins eating with the family at the dinner table, their diet changes fundamentally. Whereas they were previously provided with an optimally balanced mix of nutrients through breast milk or commercially produced infant formula, their nutrient intake now depends increasingly on the foods they choose and eat on their own. Many children exhibit pronounced picky eating behaviors during this phase and do not always prefer the foods that would be important for a balanced diet. Depending on their eating habits, this can lead to deficiencies in certain vitamins and minerals.
In such cases, it may be beneficial to specifically supplement the child’s diet to support an age-appropriate intake of important micronutrients and thereby strengthen the foundation for healthy development.
